How we score a comparison.
A verdict on this page is the average of four lab-measured pillars and one editorial pillar. No spec sheet is pasted; every score is generated within 72 hours of a device's global launch.

Display — peak nits, ΔE, PWM
We measure peak brightness, colour accuracy against DCI-P3, and pulse-width modulation at minimum brightness with a Konica Minolta CA-410. A panel that pushes 2,500+ nits but flickers at 240Hz scores lower than a steadier 1,800-nit panel.

Performance — Geekbench 6 & sustained thermals
Single-run Geekbench scores lie, so we run a 20-minute sustained-throttle loop on every flagship. The score we publish is the median of the final five minutes, not the headline peak.

Battery — video loop & 5G drain
Standardised 1080p video at 200 nits over Wi-Fi, then a parallel 5G drain test under a Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 cell emulator. mAh ratings are not the score — endurance at a fixed brightness is.

Camera — low-light & motion
A locked tripod, a 1-lux controlled scene, and a moving subject at 0.5 lux. We score detail retention, noise, and shutter lag against a reference unit. Computational claims are checked, not paraphrased.
